Studio Note: Reliquary

I’ve always been drawn to objects that have already lived a life.

Reliquary began with found objects that were never meant to be art. I like the challenge of taking something discarded, overlooked, or ordinary and giving it a completely new context. Once those pieces come together, they become something else entirely.

That idea is at the heart of my work: re-purposing the past into something worth looking at again.
